Orb of Rahu and Circle of Ketu

In this new proposal, we present two pieces of furniture in dialogue, inspired by the richness of Vedic astrology. The story of these two celestial entities finds its roots in an enthralling myth: after stealing the amrita, the nectar of immortality from the gods, the demon Svarbhānu was punished by the God Vishnu who, with a gesture, separated his head from his body. Thus were born Rahu, the head transformed into a celestial orb, and Ketu, the body turned into a headless dragon, symbolizing the two sides of the same original essence.

The first piece of furniture, evoking the watchful eye of Rahu, is designed as a precious orb, while the second, representing the body of Ketu, adopts a circular shape, embodying completeness and unity.

These chests, far more than mere objects, are a tribute to this cosmic duality, to this balance between light and darkness.

These storage units can integrate into a variety of different spaces. The orb features two horizontal drawers, and the circle combines two horizontal drawers with vertical compartments. Topped with an elegant glass shelf, these pieces invite you to display your favorite objects.

The aesthetics of these creations rely on the designer's preferred materials: steel, for its strength and modern sheen; leather, for its timeless elegance and warm touch; and glass, for its transparency and visual lightness.
